  1. ³Exort & Elicma Party Report

  4. Well,  all should start in a town named
  5. 'PAPENBURG'  in  the  north of Germany.
  6. Nox  of  Zeus  and I (Acropole/Agnostic
  7. Front) went off early in the morning to
  8. catch  our train in direction where the
  9. party  will  held.   After  4  hours of
  10. drivin` in hot waggons and changing the
  11. train  for  5 times we managed to reach
  12. Papenburg.   We  were very stoned after
  13. this  tour,  'cos we had taken an Amiga
  14. 1000  plus  monitor  and  all the other
  15. stuff  you need for a party with us and
  16. the  constantly  waiting for the train,
  17. carrying all things from place to place
  18. 'n    the   warm   weather   was   very
  19. headhunting.  But at last we were there
  20. and  we  looked at the invitation where
  21. the  map  of  Papenburg was printed on.
  22. We  came  to the decision that It would
  23. be  better to take a taxi, cos It seems
  24. to be a long run to the hotel and so we
  25. did.   The  taxi  brought  us  directly
  26. infront  of  the hotel where this event
  27. should  be held.  It was very clever to
  28. take a taxi, 'cos the party - place was
  29. over  four  kilometres from the railway
  30. station  away  and we had never reached
  31. it if we would have gone by foot !!!!
  32.  
  33. We  were  the  first freaks who arrived
  34. and  so was the atmosphere.  Nobody was
  35. in  sight  who  looked like a freak and
  36. the rest looked at us strange feelings.
  37. Then  suddenly  a  person came straight
  38. towards us and asked if we are here for
  39. the  party.   I wondered myself, cos of
  40. course  we  a carrying the mashines for
  41. fun.......   and  after  small  talk we
  42. entered the hotel.

  44. After  heading  from  door  to  door we
  45. reached  the  party  room  which  was a
  46. quite  huge hall, and we saw some dudes
  47. from  Exort  who  were  doing  the last
  48. things  for  the  party  ready.   There
  49. wasn't much talking between them and us
  50. and  the  only thing they said was that
  51. we  are  too  early  and that we should
  52. build  up  our  amiga and afterwards we
  53. should   leave   !!!!!    Wow...,  very
  54. impressive  this  freaks  were my first
  55. thinkings  but  we are not guys who are
  56. searching  for  trouble  and so we left
  57. the  party  place after we built up the
  58. mashine.

  67. We  decided  to  search a snack-bar and
  68. what  a  luck  -  just  200 metres away
  69. there  was  a building what seems to be
  70. what  we  are looked for.  After eating
  71. pommes and hamburger we wanted to go to
  72. a trip through this town, cos the party
  73. began  in  more than a hour.  We walked
  74. and  walked till we saw a huge crowd of
  75. people.   We went to it and there was a
  76. kind of market (so called in germany as
  77. 'flohmarkt') everbody is selling things
  78. what  is  out  of  use  for  low  level
  79. prices.   Pretty  nice,  because  there
  80. were  also  very nice girls .....not to
  81. sell  but to look at....  After this we
  82. decided to walk back to the partyplace.
  83. We  reached  again the hotel and we saw
  84. some  fellows  standing  infront of it.
  85. After   chating   with   fellows   from
  86. 'Tension'  and  a  cool  guy of 'Grace'
  87. called 'Priest' the party started.
  88.  
  89. Everybody  built  up  their  Amigas and
  90. soon  the  first guys started to paint,
  91. code  or  made music.  After some times
  92. much more peoples arrived and soon many
  93. groups   were   presented   e.g  United
  94. Forces,  Sanity  Symbiosis  , T.E.T.  ,
  95. Trackers,  Toxic Track, Xenox, Frantic,
  96. Grace,  Precise,  Zeus  and  of  course
  97. Agnostic  Front.   Of course there were
  98. also  some local lamers, too but not as
  99. many  as I thought some days before.  I
  100. have  pixeled  the  last  things  on my
  101. piccy  ready,  'cos  it  should be take
  102. part  at  the  gfx-competition and so I
  103. was  most  of  the afternoon infront of
  104. the mashine.  Later on Priest/Grace and
  105. I  went  through  the town and had much
  106. fun together.  After setting some logos
  107. with  edding  on  streetlamps  etc.  we
  108. headed  back  to  the  party,  'cos the
  109. competition should start at 7 pm and so
  110. we  did.   I was very fucked up of this
  111. competition,  'cos  I  was  very fed up
  112. with watching computer.  I just watched
  113. the  gfx  and  the  democompetition and
  114. listened  just  to  1 sound then Priest
  115. and  I left again the place.  We walked
  116. again   around   doing   nothing   from
  117. importness and here 'n there we painted
  118. again with our eddings around.  We were
  119. very bored but at last we entered again
  120. the room and started to copy new stuff.
  121. By the way we weren't the only guys who
  122. copied - nearly all screens were filled
  123. with  x-copy and many guys were running
  124. around to catch the latest wares.  Even
  125. at  our  place kids and lamers asked us
  126. if  we could copy them some stuff.  But
  127. we  copied  not  much  to them, because
  128. also  some freaks from wellknown groups
  129. were  since  then  presented around our
  130. amiga  and everybody was collecting the
  131. newest  wares.   Then the winner of the
  132. competitions were out.

  134. Unfortunately  I just know the guys who
  135. won the first prize in the competition.
  136. The  first prize for the best demo went
  137. to  T.E.T.,  the  sound competition won
  138. Jester/Sanity      and     I     (still
  139. Acropole/Agnostic    Front)   won   the
  140. graphix  competition.   Never  believed
  141. that  before,  but  it  seems  that  my
  142. 'spacerat' had many fans.  After this I
  143. continued   with   some  swapping.   at
  144. around  eleven  o'  clock  pm the first
  145. guys  left  the party-place.  But there
  146. was still a good number of peoples left
  147. and  everybody was copying and tried to
  148. fill  his  freedisx  with stuff.  After
  149. talking  and chating with other freaks,
  150. copying  software  painting  some  fast
  151. things  the  watch  said nearly 2:00 in
  152. the  morning.   And  due  this  was the
  153. endtime for the party many peoples left
  154. the  place  to drive home.  Just around
  155. 15-25  guys  stayed  also  for sleeping
  156. there.   Oh,  I  forgot  something very
  157. important.   you all out there know the
  158. group  called  'Cytax'.   I  think this
  159. group  got now some more enemies in the
  160. scene.  Reason was that this lame group
  161. painted a huge 'Cytax' logo graffity on
  162. the housewall of the hotel.  The owners
  163. were  very  nice  but  since  this they
  164. weren't   anymore!    I  think  'Cytax'
  165. should   learn  thinking  before  doing
  166. action, 'cos Exort and Elicma shall pay
  167. a complete new painting !  Perhaps they
  168. are interested to know that some groups
  169. will  code  a  cooperation demo against
  170. them  due  this  act of lameness !  But
  171. now let's continue with the party.

  173. Well,   as   said  there  weren't  many
  174. fellows  left  but there was still fun.
  175. At   around  3:15  am  I  built  up  my
  176. sleeping place.  Many guys followed and
  177. I  went  to  sleep.   We had to wake up
  178. early  in  the  morning, 'cos the train
  179. went  off  at  8:30  am.  I slept quite
  180. good  even  the floor was not very soft
  181. and around a quarter to seven am I woke
  182. up.   I  turned  to  the  left  and saw
  183. Priest  sleeping on some chairs, on the
  184. other side was Nox of Zeus still in the
  185. world  of  dreams.  I looked around and
  186. saw  the  guys of Tension still working
  187. on  their  mashines and also some other
  188. guys  I  can not remember were still on
  189. their  legs.  I woke Nox up, because we
  190. had  to pack all our stuff together and
  191. afterwards  we left the party to call a
  192. taxi.   But  Exort and Elicma surprised
  193. us  with  a  cool  driving  service !!!
  194. Wow,  instead  of  paying much money we
  195. could  drove  for  just  1 (!!!) German
  196. mark per person to the railway station.
  197. With  6  persons  in  one car (It was a
  198. jetta  !!!)  we  arrived at the station
  199. and  there  we met again some guys from
  200. the  party  (hy  Hysteric !) we grabbed
  201. our stuff and went to the rails.  After
  202. some  times  many guys of the rest came
  203. also to the station and we printed some
  204. stickers etc.  on lamps, banks etc.  we
  205. stood  there with about 12 peoples from
  206. (of course) different groups and it was
  207. also  a  great  atmosphere between each
  208. other.  Ffter some times of waiting the
  209. awaited  train  where we all waited for
  210. arrived.   The  tour was very funny and
  211. everybody was looking at us, because of
  212. all  the  amigas,  monitors  etc.  this
  213. tour  contained much fun and we chatted
  214. much  over  the  party.  Till Bremen we
  215. drove with pals from Precise and an ice
  216. cool  graphician called Sascha (Hey, if
  217. you  read  this,  sorry  can't remember
  218. your pseudo !) He was from Trackers and
  219. was  a  fine guy.  Then the time to say
  220. good  bye  arrived,  because  we had to
  221. take  another  train  back  to good old
  222. Sulingen.    At   around  12:30  pm  we
  223. reached  our  small  town  and  totally
  224. tired  and  not fit at all I reached my
  225. home.   After  'hello' I visited my bed
  226. to   get  some  sleep.   This  was  the
  227. weekend of the 27th.

  229. To  the  28th of july.  All in all this
  230. wasn't  a  bombastic  party  but it was
  231. much  better  than  I excepted and I've
  232. made  many  new  friendships.   perhaps
  233. Exort  and Elicma should work harder on
  234. the  organisation  'n next time on real
  235. low  level  prizes  for food 'n drinks.
  236. Anyway  my  best salutes to both groups
  237. for  helding  it and to the persons who
  238. voted  for  me in the gfx - competition
  239. (thanx  !!!!!!!).   also  greetings to:
